Common questions about Guest and ASTRA+, pricing, moving to a new phone and offline play.
For the rules themselves see How to Play,
and for the maths see Scoring.
Pricing and plans
Is it free?
Yes. ASTRA is free to play, with no download and no sign-up — open the page and start.
Nothing in the game itself is held back: every difficulty, the daily challenge and all achievements are there.
How many plans are there?
Two: Guest, which needs no sign-up, and the monthly ASTRA+.
Guest records live only on that device; ASTRA+ keeps your galaxy in the cloud and connects you with other
players.
What is ASTRA+?
A monthly plan that keeps your galaxy in the cloud and connects you with other players.
It costs 300 JPY per month (tax included), and first-time subscribers get the first 7 days
free.
Cloud save for your 500 most recent stars and your constellations
Community galaxies: 30 plus search and favourites
Join the weekly ranking (top 50, past weeks too)

ASTRA+ requires an account, and payment is handled by Stripe.
The binding terms are in the Terms of Service.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time from the account screen. You keep ASTRA+ features until the end of the period you already paid
for,
after which it does not renew. As digital content, purchases are not refunded.
Accounts and data
Do I need an account?
No. Choose "Play as guest" to skip sign-up entirely. As a guest, though, your records live only in that browser
on that device, and you cannot appear in the weekly ranking.
Is there a password?
No. Enter your email address and a sign-in link is sent to it; opening the link signs you in.
There is no password to remember.
Does guest progress carry over?
Yes, into a newly created account (except Daily Challenge progress).
Signing into an account that already has records will not merge guest data into it —
that is deliberate, so two galaxies never combine by accident.
Will my galaxy survive a new phone?
With ASTRA+, yes. Sign in with the same email address on the new device and your cloud galaxy opens as it was.
Guest data cannot be moved between devices, so consider subscribing if you want to keep your records.
The cloud keeps your 500 most recent stars and up to 30 constellations.
Once you pass 500, every new star pushes the oldest one out of the cloud: when your 501st star is born, the very
first one is no longer saved there.
Stars pushed out are not deleted from the device you play on — your galaxy screen still shows all of them.
But because they are no longer in the cloud, they do not come back if you switch phones or clear that
device's data.
Constellations work differently: you can keep 30, and the 31st simply cannot be saved — delete one you no longer
want first.
Each constellation holds up to 24 stars and 48 lines.
Can I start my galaxy over?
Yes, via "Reset galaxy". A reset removes every star in your galaxy and all saved
constellations.
It keeps your best score, play count, streak, achievements and titles, and Daily Challenge
records.
Your account, ASTRA+ subscription, difficulty setting and community favourites are untouched.
Because it cannot be undone, you must type "RESET" to confirm.
What happens if I delete my account?
Deleting your account cancels your subscription and removes your sign-in, cloud galaxy, public shares and
ranking records.
Your on-device galaxy, achievements, constellations and daily records are deleted too, and
none of it can be restored. Share or save any images you want to keep first.
Devices and environment
Is there a native app?
It runs entirely in the browser, so there is nothing to install from an app store.
On a phone, use your browser's "Add to Home Screen" to launch it full screen with no address bar.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once loaded, it plays in airplane mode or with no signal. Records made offline are stored on the device,
and cloud sync and weekly ranking submission happen once you are back online.
Can I play on a computer?
Yes — mouse clicks or the space bar both work, and the ring scales to your window size.
There is no sound
Browsers only allow audio to start after your first tap, so sound begins from then on.
Also check that your device is not on silent and that the browser tab is not muted.

How is my player name chosen?
Signing in assigns a public player name automatically. Your real name and email address are never shown.
ASTRA+ members can set their own name.
